Moral rectitude, rejection of lewdness and transgression, and submission to Allah. His story is a severe warning that communities which normalise profound moral corruption face divine punishment.

Special Characteristics

A nephew of Ibrahim, who accompanied him on his migration. He was sent to a people who committed unprecedented moral transgressions. The site of the destruction is believed to correspond to the Dead Sea region in present-day Jordan and Palestine.
